PAPUA - The Infantry Battalion Task Force (Yonif Task Force) 432/WSJ from the HABEMA Operational Command continues to bring smiles to the faces of children in Papua. On Wednesday (29/01/2025), the Yonif 432 Task Force stationed at Pos Dal distributed snack packages to children in the Dal District, Papua, as part of their RI-PNG Border Security Operation.
The activity, led by Lt. Inf. Bayu Tri Nugraha, S.Tr.(Han), was aimed at igniting a sense of enthusiasm and motivation among the children as they embark on the new year. The initiative reflects the TNI's commitment to engaging with the local community and supporting the younger generation in Papua.
“We distributed snack packages to the children in the first month of the new year. We hope this small gesture will benefit them and inspire a renewed and better spirit as they welcome 2025, ” said Lt. Bayu during the activity.
The joy on the children’s faces was unmistakable as they expressed their gratitude.
“Thank you, soldiers! We are very happy to receive these snack packages. Thank you so much!” said one of the children, brimming with excitement.

Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of KOOPS HABEMA, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a closer relationship between the TNI and the community.
“The Yonif 432 Kostrad Task Force’s initiative in sharing these packages demonstrates the TNI’s dedication to addressing basic needs and supporting the acceleration of development in Papua, ” he stated after receiving the report.
Through these heartfelt actions, the HABEMA Task Force continues to reaffirm the TNI’s dual role as both a defender of security and a partner in improving the welfare of the Papuan people, especially its younger generation.
